Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the child of Mahendru, who has a Russian Indian mother as well as a Hindu Afghan father. Mahendru fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru's parents are Russian as well as Indian. At age 11 she choreographed an act which earned her a spot on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden who transforms into an energetic Indian dancer. When she graduated from the requirements for high school and college in New York, she received her bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She was a student of improv and comedy at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and the Russian mom Olga. The couple divorced when she was 13 years older and they relocated into East Meadow New York with her father.She is a part of Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most famous role. She has had a recurring appearance on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
