Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, often known as Ashanti was born on the 13th of October, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer as well as songwriter. Ashanti began her professional career when she was a teenager then was eventually signed to Murder Inc. Records by 2002. That same year, she was included on The Fat Joe's What's Luv? Both Fat Joe's What's Luv?
